Smoked Tailights $10

The tailights I currently have smoked are cheap APC carbon fiber euro tails, I'm going to redo this process on my factory tailghts that fit much better. I'll install a (2) 16-LED Cluster Bulb's which will add a unique look. The Factory Tailights are red and will look much better with a smoked tint job. I'll post pics soon of smoking the factory tailights with this process...

Cool, my buddy has a Scion TC too and has told me about that. I guess alot of people on the forums scionlife do the vinyle. Got any night pics?

Yes. Newer vehicles are required to have two brake lights with red lenses on and visible from the left and right angles of the car as well as the back, and a third brake light that illuminates red and is visible from the rear.

Here's what my taillights assembly looked like when I got the car. Boring and bland...

After a trip to Wally World to get some sandpaper, some flat black Krylon, some masking tape, and an Exacto knife they look like this:

For what I paid for the paintjob I can't complain at all ~ and with fresh paint I found I don't so much mind the factory color.

And that quick $10 mod has made me more than a few bucks from people around town seeing it and wanting something similar done to their cars that also do not have aftermarket tails available //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I just used niteshades and some clear on mine.
