Location does not mean much to quality. The best quality stuff is grown indoors, and it doesn't care if its grown in a house in Cali, Wa, or Alaska.

Indoor grows are more tightly controlled and if done by a professional/experienced grower the taste blows away the outdoor grown cali stuff. They are able to control the nutrient balance, utilize different colors/wavelngths of light and the can flush plant at the end of the grow. Its not easy to do any of those things outdoors. I live in a city with 2 major interstate highways going through it. Lots of drugs come through this area and now that Michigan has medicinal, we now get that trickling down here and I must say it is some of the tastiest stuff I have ever had. Indoor grows ftw!

It's a no brainer indoor>outdoor. But there is still a reason the Emerald Triangle is the Nations pot supplier.

Marijuana is continually becoming more potent, and tastey lol.

There is, politics. Nothing in northern Cali suggests its any more beneficial for growing pot than other places in the country, except the local politics interfere.

Indoor is no better than outdoor, potency is determined by genetics, not ferts or anything else. Granted for 99% of the US populous that will come from indoors because outdoor growing is too risky. Northern Cali has an absolutely fantastic climate for growing MJ as well as an oldschool MJ growing culture & the genetics are already there. Europe is where most of the best new genitics come from because the political climate in certain countries (Sweeden, Holland etc.) allow for the big breeders to grow out thousands of cultivars & maintain breeding facilities.

I mostly agree, but soil and other factors do contribute to the outcome of a harvest. If it was strictly genetics, everyone would be tokin on some award winning White Widow lol Potency potential is genetic obviously, but take two clones, grow one outside with minimal attention, and grow another inside on hydro with continuous care, you will get two very different potency levels and tastes.

It's way better for the grower, doesn't make the weed more potent & that's where climate comes into play. Some places are better than others. No doubt you are correct in saying indoor is easier to control. No bugs, no worries, but it doesn't affect potency.
