So I'm tuning my amp with the dd1 and I messed with amp's gain remote and it didn't do anything to the dd1. I turned the remote to minimum and the distortion light was still on when I put my amp to a clipping level.

I'm trying to get it to where I can have the amp tuned with a -7db tone on max and then when I play stuff that's boosted I can turn down my gain remote and not clip. Like make a little marking on my remote that says where it will be safe to play say a -3 tone or a 0 tone or whatever, but it's not working out because I get no feedback from turning the remote knob.

Anyone done this before? Help?

Maybe I'm just tired but I don't get what you're saying.

Another question. Has anyone here used the SMD OM-1? I'm thinking about getting it and I'm wondering if it's worth getting like if it's accurate.
