A friend was asking me about what subs for his box. It's a 2 chamber sealed box that if my math is right is .84cubes/chamber. It is a prefab that fits under the rear seat of pick up. Budget isn't too much of an issue and he can get a amp to work with what he speakers he chooses. He is wanting something more focused on SPL. I don't think an IDQ would hit hard enough for him. I was thinking may Dayton HO's. Are there any other subs that fit this criteria that I am not thing of?

Dayton HO would be a good choice. You could also consider Sundown SD-12s (not the SA). SDs were meant for sealed purposes and definitely more what you're looking for.

The front is on an angle and the back has a hole recessed for another .75 in. It was hard to measure but around 7in deep.

It is a high school kid not looking to compete or anything, but he is wanting to "feel" the bass. Going off my IDQ, he won't be interested in it.

Yeah, I'd say the Sundown SD. Only needs 5 1/4" of depth and really should take 1 cube but you can use some polyfill to correct for that.
