Small amp

Hey guys i have a lanzar opti drive amp in my jeep center console right now. This was the smallest amp i caould find. The specs i need is less thatn 8 inches wide and less tehn 10.5 inchess long.. The subs im using are old school orion xtr and its in a sealed box that i made... i have a higher end dual"if ther is such a thing" lol for a HU but im uprgrading very soon. Can anybody find some amps that fit in these specs

The CA200 at this link for $39 is smaller than that. 7.5" X 9.75", IIRC:

It is a 65w RMS X 2 or 190w RMS X 1, both at 4ohms. Not sure if that is enough power for you, however. The price is sure right, though. I have two of them, ATM.

my lanzar says it puts out around 100wrms at 4 ohms which is what i have it at now.

which is very insufficent cuz my subs are orions that are 800 wrms a peice...

i cant seem to find a small amp with more than those ratings.

plus the lanzar is an opti drive... the only thing i will buy from lanzar...

I like them a lot. I ran them full-range into my Dynaudio home audio bookshelf speakers off a car battery in my bedroom system when I first got them. I was very pleasantly surprised by the fact that they sounded really good under those circumstances.

In the car they have worked like champs, and I have had 0 issues with either of them. Since I got them for $39 each, and that includes a 1 year warranty, I feel like I got away with something. Pretty sweet amps. Un-freakin'-believable for the money.

They are more power than you have now, but yeah, pretty short of what your subs can handle. I don't see you getting much more power than that from amps in the size range you are looking for, though. Do you?

there's the Lanzar Opti2x150d that's 100x2 at 4, 180x2 at 2, 360 bridged that will easily fit (6.6 x 9.5). Available for $135 shipped.

they also have the 2x300d which is 150x2/250x2/500x1, but it's 11.5 long.

yeah i agree but im getting 100 wrms x2 from my lanzar now.

that amp says its 90wrms x 2.

i know that all amps always dont put out the rated wattage...

plus from the lanzar i get lpf and pretty good bass control..

if you can spare a few inches , I have a 2 channel that can put out 150X2 @ 2 ohm.

dimensions - 2 1/4"H x 9 3/4"W x 10 9/16"L.

aren't the alpine pdx's tiny?

yup they are.... Dimensions (WxHxD): 10-1/8" x 7-9/16" x 2-7/16"

nah i really cant spare any width wise.

it has to be less than 8 inches wide... i really wish i could.

the reason why i dont put it under the seat.

is 1) thats teh dimensions for my lock box in the center console in my jeep

2)i take the top off the jeep in the summer and i dont want it to get wet.

3)i dont want it to get stolen..

on which amp? if you are referring to the pdx's then look up about 5 posts. i listed the dimensions.
