Small amp for IDMAX? 600W-800W

I have a DA D5600.2 that puts out 600W but its just too long for my 95 Civic sedan at 17" long. Can I get anything else for $200-$300 with the same quality but smaller? The woofer is a Dual 2 ohm.

Also, "small" and "600-800w" don't work together unless you're in specific IASCA divisions.

That JBL doesnt do 1ohm.

its not 200-300. but JL 500/1 and run it at 4ohm

I am going to vote for the JBL BP600.1 as well. I have had mine at 1ohm on many occasions.

Doesnt do 1 ohm. The woofer is a 2 ohm DVC.

Trying to find a JBL BP600.1 but also looking at the Viper D600.1 if I can find the dimensions for it. Last choice is a D3 600.1 but it's $230-$240.

Anyone know actual output of the Viper D1200.1 at 4 ohms? They list it at 450W but if it's not around 600W then Ill start trying to find a JBL 1200.1.

Only reason I sold it was because the **** thing won't take less than a four ohm mono load. Not enough flexibility. But if you have a dual 2 ohm driver, it's perfect.

They're also much easier to configure than the JBL BP series //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Alright, the only place I could find the Avionixx 800.2 amp is on eBay for $190+ ship. Also doesnt have a SSF (I plan to make a 2.5cuft tuned to 28hz). Might as well go with a D3 600.1 for that much. :dunno:

You don't need an SSF @ 28Hz...

Can the 600.1 do 900W @ 4?

run them in series(each voice coil)=4 ohms and get you a old ppi A-600 they do 600 watts at 4 ohms and there are other amps out there that will bridge at 4 ohms..all I`m saying is don`t be set on an amp that runs at 1 ohm
