Driving a 1995 Corolla. Online it says the car has a 70 amp alternator. I'm looking to run an amp that makes 100RMS x 2 @ 4ohms for the door speakers and a ZX750.1 to power a 10 inch SA-10. So that is 950RMS running off a 70 amp alternator. I know that is small but I will do the big 3.

Can the car take that power daily? I want to know now and do it right. I'm not spending money on a HO alt or 2nd battery. I need to know if I should consider another smaller amp because I don't want to have low voltage to the point where I break the amp, break the alt or drain my batterie and have to dish out cash to replace stuff.

If you cant handle getting something like this to keep a much more expensive part of your car breaking then you picked the wrong hobby.

assumed it would cost more than that.

buy I thought an extra battery was for extra play time and power when the car is off. I'm more concerned while driving. won't it be the alt I'm overworking.

It will also keep your voltage from dipping below 12.4v with its reserve capacity, keeping the alt and amp from overworking
