***Small 1999 S10 Blow Threw Build***

What's the cheapest way to water proof Mdf??
Go up to Pep Boys or whatever store is around you and pick up some fiberglass resin. Cut a gallon jug in half and pour some in there. Pour some hardener in it and mix it with a paint stick. Apply it to the box with a paint roller. Let it dry and you're good to go. It will stink up your truck for a few weeks though haha.

You ought to just do a spray-on bedliner for your whole bed. Cover the box as well, and it will look like a part of the truck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I won't be putting a cover on it atm. And getting the bed sprayed is 400.00. No way in doing that anytime soon so just need to water proof it till the bed cover. I guess I'll just get dome resin...

I use a soft cover tonneau and it keeps all the water out. I had to silicone the part where the cover attaches to the bed under the rear window though. But it keep my box from getting wet just fine.

why half *** the job? cover the **** box in something. go to autozone get the roll on cans of bedliner. clean ur bed and start! there like $16 a can iirc. get like 8 of them and be done!
