slow day in tha dome...

Did you cool your tower at all? Thats the only flaw these had is the tower sits around 50 degrees. I have a tower cooler that will be here monday.
I tried insultating it using the foam stuff that people use to cover pipes under the house. It helped with the foaming quite a bit. When the cold beer hits the warm air, it causes the foaming.

Also, SM, keep in mind that temperature changes usually take a day. So after you buy it, it will sit for a day or so to get to the right temperature. You need a thermometer for fridges (available at wal-mart) to dial in the fridge before you buy the beer. And then after you buy the beer let it sit for a day or so because the beer (if it's a keg) will actually warm up the fridge a few degrees.

I am sure a bigger/better fridge could change easily but these danbys take a while to adjust to temperature changes and every degree matters on whether you get a pint of foam or beer. I wasted maybe 10 beers before perfecting the temperature, pressure, opening the tap, pouring. All that to be done right. You can't open the tap scared or it will foam.

kegerators are awesome. When I had mine i found I drank a tad more.... Theres just something bustin out a frosty mug and filling it.

hmmph now i'm thirsty.
