what's the slope x- over for . My HU has a subwoofer slope x-over in -18 . -12 , and -6. I'm not sure what they do , can someone explain . Thanks

Steeper numbers means the attenuation per octave is higher - so it'll drop off faster from your cutoff frequency.

To elaborate, it drops off from a given frequency at that rate/octave. Meaning if the cutoff is 80 hz and you set it at 6, it will be 6 decibels quieter at 40hz, 12 at 20... Steeper slopes can allow you to lower your crossover frequeny and can allow drivers to better integrate, in some cases.
