That's the way I was thinking of things when metallica was here, but then I decided I'd rather miss out on the experience totally than see what they've become vs. what they were.

Hell, they have only made 4 albums in over 10 years. Sic, and Iowa being right back to back.

Then 3 years Till vol 3, and 4 until all hope is gone.

I just can't beleive they'll make 3 more albums.

Maybe a greatest hits one, and maybe 1 more. If that.

Dude, they are in their ****ing 30's for Christ sake. Rolling Stones are what? like in their 90's AC/DC are in their 80's and all still make music. I know for a fact they have 3 more albums on their contract.

Slipknot and Mudvayne were 2 of my favorite bands ......but both both bands are deffinatley not on the same level they used to be lol.....but I would still like to see them both hoping they would play alot of thier old stuff and just to have a fun night out

and im not a slipnot fan but they do have one new song thats pretty tight but, I only wanna hear welcome home played live by coheed and cambria for the most part.

Usually I do not like when metal bands soften up, but I must say I really like the newer styles of Slipknot and Mudvayne. Noth have singers with great voices. They need to utilize what they have.

I am seeing them as well on the 28th. My buddy got free tickets from the Lazer 103.3 radio contest thingy. I saw them in 2005 at Hilton Coliseum in Ames as well. Was a good show.

Went to the concert the other night, was a pretty awesome show. Coheed and Cambria was a little different and I am not sure why they were grouped with Slipknot, but good show nonetheless

ok slipknot is meehhh now ill agree with that, but their live shows are fun... they just have so much energy that it always turns into a great time.

I lost all respect for corey taylor when he created stone sour. Slipknot these days just gives me a headache, I feel sorry for you having to bear it for a couple hours at an insanely high volume.
