BTW what kind of car do you have Etac? Are you running just a frontstage? how is your bass response on those comps?

lol funny you should bring the bass response up - this is actually something i been messing with the past two days... if i run 100-150 watts. i can set the HPF prety low - i've done as low as 60.. or 80 and boost the 100ish hz a couple db's and its blends pretty good.. but when i run my 200-250 i have to set it higher or some songs will **** the speakers.. and it defently lacks...

i drive a subaru legacy (sedan) and yea only frontstage but im prolly gonna add rear fill eventually (cause i like it)

hm. ive been pretty into eclipse. but im really wanting to try something new but i have no clue on whats even decent when it comes to components. ive always used eclipse. id like to try some rainbows but i dont know where to get them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

my eclipse set has no bass response whatsoever. the little bass i do get is from my 6 1/2 eclipse coaxials in my rear. my fronts have none. but they are midranges, so i cant expect much. but they have ALOT of excursion, i just dont hear any bass, or even midbass from them barely at all. i must not have them sealed off properly. as far as sound goes tho.. they are very, very crisp and clean and get very loud on 65w per side

i also liked my memphis mclass speakers that were a little cheaper - look into those - they arent talked about enough on these forums
