anybody use them to fall asleep. it usually takes me 1.5 hrs to pass out. i just tried unisom last night and my heads been feeling like shit all day. but then again i got pretty drunk sat so im gonna try it out again. anyone else have problems falling asleep & use sleeping pills

Careful with diphenhydramine... I don't know how you handle it, but I built up a tolerance for it and had to keep increasing the dose. Doxylamine succinate is a much more effective "aid" and doesn't seem to have the tolerance build up with prolonged use. You might get really dry nostrils leading to slight bloody noses every now and then. Both seem to make me feel like garbage all day though.

I've also found that taking more than the recommended dose leads to a very long restless night... aka, not being able to fall asleep, or stay asleep. 25 mg of doxy can usually tranquilize me for 13+ hours easily once I fall asleep.

that stuff is fuucked up. i would take it and do some crazy shiit. there have been people who have driven, eaten, and done crazy stuff that they dont remember doing. i got off it after i called my gf every night and said some wierd and bad things to her.

I had such a run-in with Ambien a while back.

That shit is so easy to start abusing, I used to take so much and trip the **** out every night.

50mg trazodone. Nonphypnotic (so no sleep-driving) and helps you sleep without requiring a full 8 hours to wear off. Perfect for guys like me who have trouble falling asleep, but not staying asleep. Plus I can still take it if I only have like 6 hours to sleep
