SLC675 vs. SS65.2

Ok... I listen to everything but country. Mostly RnB, Rap, Funk, Soul.

I'm looking for strong midbass and LOUD clarity. I want my music to be loud and audible.

Which would be a better choice?

lol nice..but i vote rainbows..havent heard anything bad about them yet...i love my boston pro60s too but havent heard rainbows

i liked my pro 60s better than the rainbows i had, sq wasnt my main goal though, i just wanted some loud amd clear ones and pros did that good

yea my pro60s are loud..finishing installing them today..gunna be running 150rms to them..ima write something up tonight if i get the chance after i install them

i liked the pro 60s alot, runing 200+per side to them, they took it fine, but i crossed them over a little hihger

Well I can't speak on behalf of the Rainbow's (I wish I could though....everyone has told me how awesome they are) but me SS's sound amazing. Great clarity and midbass, and get loud as shit off about 120 watts to each midbass and ~100 to each tweeter.

of course I am biased, but IMHO the SS's are some of the best components I have heard, and I've heard alot. most people that have heard mine, can't believe the stage, midbass, and clarity, with a 30mm tweeter, opens the vocals up nicely.

I also vote for the Kickers, I have a buddy who has the rainbow SLC's in his car, and they sound really good, although I just did an install in an 06 Z06 with a set of SS 65.2, SS 56.2, and a kicker 450.2 on them, and it sounded absolutely amazing, I love those components.

im throwing the TS-C720PRS into the mix now. I think I may be getting the Pioneers. Sacrifice a little loudness for great sound....

anyone got their pioneers running yet? Im all over the DIYmobilaudio.com boards getting info on these speakers
