SLC 265 kicks or?

atm, i have crystal sscs6's but they are too deep to fit in my door and with my mdf rings, they hit my door panel, so i need to get something else.. I have a few options on here, either the rainbow slc 265 kick version, or the kicker ss65.2

I havent had a chance to hear either one, but ive heard great things about the rainbows, and the kickers..

If anyone else has any ideas on what speakers i should choose..

it is a 2000 dodge durango, off 100 watts per side..

If it would help at all, i can get my hands on a pair of q logic kick panels.. let me know.. thanks

What is the difference between the slc 265, and the kick version.. if i needed to take my sub out while i go to college.. which one is gonna be a better all around speaker?

if you needed to take the sub out get the kicks. They pound down to 80hz

bass below 80hz. They dont play lower then that. So get some 6x9s in the back or something, and get a 4channel amp so they can be amped too. If they aren't amped the 6x9's will destort WAY before the SLC's do.

Also, i'd suggest the pioneer rev 6x9's. very nice.

they can play full range but don't do it...most people high pass rainbows at 65ish hz and above anyway.

You been given some very good info. The Slc 265 are very nice in deed. IMO you would be more than happy.
