I don't buy into the blacks have to work harder. I am living the truth of exactly opposite of that. I could quote many, many, many examples of black men getting into medical and law school that were less qualified than their white counterparts. I am not at all racist, I am friends with both groups of people, and all of the black people I have talked to about this will admit that they didn't deserve it over the white men, they just got it because they were black. That in and of itself seems like a pretty good reparation...

Depends, could be government, could be private, depends on who initiates the reparations. The thing is they won't take money from where you think they should...take a look at Bush's latest budget he announced and compare it to past budgets...he cut the shit out of almost every education program while raising homeland security by ~10%. Our budget is already ****ed up enough.

The thing is they won't take money from where you think they should...take a look at Bush's latest budget he announced and compare it to past budgets...he cut the shit out of almost every education program while raising homeland security by ~10%. Our budget is already ****ed up enough.

Well the budget is a different discussion IMO, though it has some place here. There are many things to amend in the budget, if we can spend however many billion on the war, we can do something to help further educate blacks.
