Why does "everyone" like the nissan skyline. I was just wondering.

because it is an engineering marvel, i would take a nissan skyline over ne american made so called "muscle" car, not old muscle cars but new ones like the viper and the mustang etc.

yeah but the skyline doesnt have the power like a viper or corvette. Plus i like the looks of the corvette better.

corvettes have gotten way to big, and although I like vipers, they dont handle all that great......right not I would take an Evolution over any of the mentioned cars, but if you want to talk about an engineering marvel........ferrari has that award all wraped up.

Nah, McLaren F1 is THE car. i agree with you on ferraris also, though.

between the skyline and the corvette, i think that the corvette would waste it in a straight drag, but in an autocross its debatable, they both handle really really well. im talking stock.

skyline is one of the only jap cars i like. actually i like nissan period. they make some decent trucks, as does toyota.

it doesnt own the mclaren, that cars 10mph faster.

the acceleration is almost the same as well.

the hennesy takes it by virtue of sheer brute force though.

SVS styker (viper) owns all 1100ft/lbs torque 1000hp. ran a 10.2 inthe 1/4mile in rain no BS I seen the video it also has brembo top of the line brakes and highly upgrade suspension.Also prolly cheaper then a lot of cars named. 80k for the viper 120k for the full upgrade

Lingetfelder Corvette Twin Turbo....

takes a Z06 and rips out the engine... swaps in a race tuend LS1 7.3L engine... twin turboed and intercooled, puts out 800 hp, and 866 lb/ft of torque...

runs 0-60 in 1.97 s... and a sub 10s 1/4 ET....

sweeeeet

RX-8 is gonna blow a$$. You can't turbocharge it. The only thing good about it.. is that it breathes better because of the new port designs in the rotary.

ugh.. d@mn mazda and their engine mount design.

oh yeah, and you can't put aftermarket headers in it either, because of mazda's new RENESIS rotary.. They should have just stuck w/ the old one..
