Got this in today....:

Call me stupid....but how do these work?

Im assuming the left part goes inside the engine bay, and than tighten the nut down, than the rounded side goes into car?

Man....im gonna miss putting stuff in my hatch area now haha, soooo much room

i think they go the other way because you will see it more from under the hood than laying down to look at them under the dash

Other way around with the grommet. You want the sealing end to be in the engine bay.

And i tighten it down with the nut on the inside of car?

Doesn't really matter which way you mount the grommets. What really matters is that you have the room to tighten the sealing end.

My Hemi didn't leave me much room so I put my round ends inside the dash.

So tighten the rounded end all the way?

Take off rounded part. Put the grommet through the firewall and tighten the nut. Then loosely put the round end back on. Then run the wire through. Finally tighten the round end (this part is what weatherproofs it).
