1999 Mitsu Eclipse

Okay, so I don't know what it's called, but because my subwoofer cone has two small unattractive dents, I want to mount it facing in.

I have about 15 inch height to work with.

24 depth

30 width

Now, because I'm mounting the sub on the outside it'll have to have little height(I'm thinking because the sub is about 8 inches tall, it'll need to be 7 inches or less in height so I don't hit my hatch glass)

Now, with MY math it doesn't seem possible. Does anyone with greater wisdom and knowledge have any ideas for me?

and I would like for it to be ported at 30 hz for SQL leaning towards SQ :-/

so you want to invert it? just build the box wide and deep. and not very tall.

Yeah, but it doesn't seem like I'll meet the reccomended size for a ported box if I do.
