he said some good tracks. if youre going to talk shit about eminem, you might as well talk shit about kanye as well. if anyone is formulatic and always uses shitty drums its him. sure hes got some good tracks, but most are just straight obvious rips of hits because he now has the money to get away with it.

yeah, 9th's snares are definitely not pleasing to the ear.

i know kanyes put out some good tracks, but as far as most people know, 'college dropout' is the only thing hes done. lol. i mean, most of the tracks he did for hov are good tracks, but they probably only took 5 minutes to make. loop a sample, throw a stupid clap over it, call it a day. the production he did for britney spears on the other hand was pretty good, but i doubt he was the last one behind the boards calling the shots...

Swizz Beats- has some hot songs out now

Kanye West-Alot of people he's backing are getting bigger now, Common, John Legend, he makes some good beats

Just Blaze- I like a few of their songs

I agree for the most part. His work is definitely getting saturated because da*n every one in the industry will pay big money for his beats, and he's churning them out like clockwork, but his old material is proof that he's a pretty good producer. Eminem, on the other hand, is just bad.

Kanye is 95% sample-based, like Brock said. What is it, "Gold-Digger" or something that just came out...all it is just a sample of a blues singer with a kick & a clap...come on now that's gotta be a 1 minute beat. And I never really HATED a Kanye track til I heard "Paid the Price" (off Do or Die's D.O.D.). That is a horrible song & beat. Do or Die should be ashamed of theirselves for even buying that beat.

But if you wanna get into stupendously horrid beats, listen to Grindin'.

yeah, most people dont know but a lot of neptunes tracks are either straight jacked samples or presets on common equipment. we loaded up the hits for grindin' in about 10 seconds on the board and were playing the whole track with one hand all the way through back when it came out.

however, I will give it to them, i like their style. they have a way of taking cheesy, casioish preset sounds and making them hits.
