Awesome, I'm currently running my VVX15 on 1 ohm and I'm sure I'm not even close to 1960rms with a stock 105a alt, interstate battery and 1 soon to be 2 runs of 1/0 gauge.

Only way to know is to clamp.

Nice! Did you try any burps? Hoping to get my 4 vvx 8s metered soon. I would be happy with similar results. I've only got 1500 watts too though. Need more power!

I did do burps, however my burps did not do as well.

Understandable... my enclosure is tuned to 33hz also. Does pretty well down to around 25hz too. Stupid fixed subsonic @ 24hz won't allow me tto try any lower. But they don't bottom out even at full tilt. Lol what song did you use for this? No idea what songs to use for metering music.

What does 25hz sound like on your system? I might be getting an odd noise on a song that was edited by 'roux that I think falls below where my subsonic is set to.

you try opening the door opposite where the meter is? +1-3db in theory as opposed to keeping everything sealed up.

I am finally close to getting two VVX-12's installed, and will be sending each one around 800WRMS via SAZ-1500d v2 wired to 1 ohm, and will have each in a custom sealed fiberglass enclosure at around 1.4cubes.

Your results make me wonder where I may end up metering...

Did you post, yet, how much you're feeding each of your 10's?
