Ok, this is starting to make me wonder. I just recently purchased 4 VVX10s brand new directly from Kevin at team pricing. After I read through this I decided to go look at my subs a little closer. I haven't installed them yet, just sitting in boxes in my room. I did notice as soon as I got them though, that one was broken or something, there was something shaking around on the inside of the sub. I emailed Kevin about it to let him know and he replied pretty quickly and said "the sub was tested before shipping so I don't know what happened.... Try playing it and if you have problems then let me know and I'll replace it." I emailed him back letting him know that I could tell it would be a problem before even installing because there was somethig shaking around in it and it'd be noisy and maybe break something. He emailed me back and told me to ship the sub to their address, I asked if I would need a shipping paper and he said no, that I'd get one when I gave ups the address. I go to UPS and they say that I'd have to pay shipping without a slip. so I leave an email Kevin and tell him I need a slip. He replied and said "you have to pay shipping I think, thanks." I was pretty pissed but I agreed, I was about to ship my sub out today, and then I read this. I go to look at my other 3 10s, and 2 of them have a chip on the magnet, one has CA glue around the dustcap(this isn't a big deal to me but still), and the other has CA glue between the reinforcement ring and the spider, gluing the top of the spider to the reinforcement ring in one spot. It looked like WAY too much CA glue was used right there where the ring was applied and seeped up and glued te spider to the side of the ring.

So my question is, did I also receive BStock subs at team pricing? Seeing how 2 have minor issues and the other 2 have issues that could possibly break the sub?

If so, I'd like to send these back for new ones, since that is what I payed for. And I don't believe I should have to pay shipping here, that is not fair.

I don't see how all 4 could have issues and this be an accident

Especially after reading this.

I didn't want to do this, but I feel it's the only way I'll be refunded for my purchase without having to pay something.

Seems like "team pricing" is the same as B-stock.

Nick, I have gone above and beyond to make your build happen, even accepting the walmart credit prepaid cards that you use everytime even though it is not something I normally like to do... I can attest to that 100%. Should there be a problem with a woofer, or anything for that matter - I have always said I will pay shipping both ways. I exchanged your B-Stock amplifier purchase that was nicked by UPS and barely showed signs of that, all at our cost (over a $200 hit on an amp after shipping, etc). I am not sure why you would come in this thread and claim I haven't taken care of you, when I have responded to over 100 of your emails...That is a huge amount of time out of my day that I have been there for you, and you know I am only an email away should you ever have a problem.

Now that I look at it even more, 2 of the subs have the Ca glue/spider/ring issue, so 1 with minor flaws, and 3 that could be potentially damaging
I have not gotten an email until tonight about this - I am unsure of why you think you were wronged here after having already emailed me 100 times...always getting a reply...you know I am here to take care of any issues, just like I did by exchanging your amplifier with a brand new one. Did I not take care of you in every way possible so far? I am also pretty sure we have eaten over $100 in free shipping costs for you just to help you out...

I am not claiming you haven't taken care of me. I know you have. That's why I defended you, but when I look at these subs and see issues with them, I just wanted to ask if I have received bstock subs or not. If the issue with the glue and the reinforcement ring isn't an issue, then I dont care. But I wanted to ask. You have to understand my side here. After seeing all of this stuff of course I'm going to be worried when i find issues with mine. I'm not claiming you haven't helped with my build because you have! You've had great customer service! But I was told by you I'd have to pay shipping for the sub back. And all 4 of these subs do have issues I haven't seen in other subs before.

1 has ca glue around dustcap. No big deal. To me at least.

2 have chipped magnets

2 have the CA glue gluing the spider to the ring

And 1 has something loose inside it that I was about to pay to send back before I saw these other issues. I was just asking a question.

I will say that overall Kevin has given great customer service to me. I wasn't coming in here trying to seem like I've been had. I just wanted to have some questions answered.
