****... i leave for a week on business, and this thread blows the fvck up.

seems to me, a few infractions happen with a company... fine... mistakes happen.

The same exact infraction happens with multiple customers, who are then not taken care of until brought to the public eye.... sounds like VERY shady practices, which will in turn leave a bad taste in everybody's mouth for said company.

Skar.... you really shot yourself in the foot. I honestly dont see you recovering from this.... doesn't really matter how much you "try to make right" now, the damage is done.

On a side note, and i know the timeline, or anything else really doesnt match up... but i know some guys will remember us wondering what T3 was going to switch their name to.... hmmmm, lmao

 
But he tested them right before they were sent out? Makes alot of sense. Either the testing methods suck or they knew all along.
Correct, I was told they were tested and working 100% before they left his warehouse but it was clearly shot when it got to me. I tried everything he told me to with the same results.

One good thing about Kevin is he always answered my PMs/phone calls/emails very quick! He never avoided me and he ultimately did what was right and refunded me and paid for shipping which if you ask me is a class act!!

Bottom line I don't believe Kevin is a bad guy, he's trying hard starting a new company and things don't always work 100% from the get go. Give him a chance he might come out with some good stuff and I may try a few other products from him in the future.

Exactly. He was betting on the fact he could blame it on you.

Him saying it was tested working 100% is a straight up lie. I don't care if he made it right by refunding you. Did he compensate you for your time? Wasted materials? General headache?

How are people not seeing this for what it is?

I was never compensated for anything other then the money I has invested into the subwoofer.

Fact is... if the same exact thing hapened with a "regular" forum member, there would probably be a buyer beware thread about it.

I hear ya man! I'm still a been here and honestly I was just happy to get my money back! Now I can head a different direction with my set up.

I still like my subs lol

I can't say hes been a bad guy to me just for the fact that he sent me a new box free of charge and let me keep my old one. Granted he could have just told me to use some screws to screw down the port wall (which I did anyway) but instead immediately responded that he'd ship me a new one for free.

Now these box errors shouldn't have happened, but he took care of it professionally and everything worked out. People can change, trust me I've seen plenty of people change, even myself. Hell I used to be a big partyer, going out every night, pretty much getting wasted most of the time...now I don't even drink nor even go anywhere really.

Hell I put $5 in my tank last monday and I only had to put more in yesterday...another $5.

well even if kevin has changed, apparently Ray Charles is the head of his QC department because we seem to hear about a lot of subs that were "100% tested and working" and turned out to be b-stock, blown, or in general effed up.
