This was resolved before SBN 2011.....it's very old news. The guy was refunded in full and was fine with the outcome....

I wouldn't buy anything from skar audio. the owner Kevin is pretty worthless as far as customer service. Those woofers are built in china, so i wouldn't expect anything great out of the build quality. Plus if they did break, Kevin would likely blame it on you and not warranty it.

Do some research about kevin schlenker on a few forums, I wouldn't trust the guy with a nickle.

Its the company that you represent, if you were with an honest and ethical company we wouldn't think you are a douche bag.

And I bet that issue was only resolved after it was spread throughout the forums, just like how the contest winner issue mentioned earlier in this thread was handled. If no one complained enough about it publicly, it would never be fixed.

the guy that owns skar audio is a scammer, his names kevin. he ripped me off a box kinda. jacob helped with both iirc. i like the way the obsidian's look...just cause the surround. if i remember the sa is suppose to be beefier than the obsidian's just by a hair or something. i think anton miller got the same results from skars and sa's. if it really comes down to it choose the one that is less expensive.
