He used other people's pictures and advertised them as the boxes that he made. Then he sent out a VASTLY inferior product. That is a scam, plain and simple. That's equivalent to paying for a Sundown 3000D and getting a Boss 3000D. On top of the blatant misleading and scamming done with the boxes, he then tried to weasel his way out of it by saying that he didn't build the boxes, but that he had hired a couple of guys with "20 years of experience" to do the boxes.

IMO, that amp fiasco is the most telling and damning evidence of the kind of person he is. He saw a chance to screw someone to help himself and he jumped at it. For what? A couple hundred bucks? Probably less.

There is a (jocular) saying we have at work... "the solution to pollution is dilution." Kevin is just diluting his pollution with Skar. More customers means more chances to diguise his shady dealings. He is still the same person as the guy who scammed with those amps, those boxes and whatever the heck happened with a WoW (world of warcraft?) account. Still want to hear about that one because that is some trifling shit.

I would just say zero fvcks are given because I honestly think Skar is cheap garbage, but it's one of two companies (along with AudioPipe) that I will go out of my way to recommend against.

The Wow thing and the box thing are the 2 things that stood out to me. I still met up with him and talked to him face to face to see where his head was at.

I can understand that when your starting out. Especially as young as he is, you make mistakes and bad decisions. You all want to say your bringing these scams to light which is good to let people know both sides of the story. But the sad thing is if a happy customer comes to his aide you jump on them and call them sack riders.. What is mature or fair about that? But yet people who have no dealing and bearing on any of these situations can run rampant with there trash talk to be cool. How mature is that and do you o that everyday at places you frequent? Lets go to the web look up Kicker complaints. DC complaints DD complaints Mechman DC power etc... You will find mounds of posts from unhappy people also and many many more happy customers..

You have a right to complain true. but these links are still ALL the same *** old **** i have been reading for 3 years its the same 3 incidents over and over and over again. One was ****** boxes ok i agree with that.

Next was selling an amp to someone else for more money (capitalism at its finest) which is every Americans right.

So how much did all the name calling and post bashing help? Or do you really think people are being "informed?" All these posts are just name callign and finger pointing with no real proof of anything wrong except BAD DECISIONS.

As for the contest it has nothing to do with me, but a lot of people were wondering (including me as i was a contestant also) how you go from being 3rd place to 1st in a day (over 2000 views.) Im just wanting to know how it happened and if it is legit then cool Gratz. These are my words not anyone else, personally don't care too much to give a ****.

So continue on doing what you do Im just so glad my home forums is nothing like this place. We actually have to se each other at events and get together most of you wouldn't make it if this site was that closely knitted.
