They are going for 349.99 right now.

Which is the price it needs to stay at to be competitive in the 1500watt range. Not knocking them as I run their products..

i just wont leave them anytime soon. especially with the new stuff. every time i leave i cant get better...especially in CS. i may go with you guys for woofers since their line ***** this year so who knows . i might be your next usual

Why is Skar dealer based? The success would be much greater if they just focused to online sales. The issue with the price on the amps comes from the price on the subs. The subs are sorta cheap for what they are, but the amps are on the other end of that spectrum.

If you can sell then by all means do so! I'm just trying to explain what others are saying is all. I can see their(members) point and Skars.

This. Just doesnt make sense to me that the subs are budget friendly, yet the amps are pretty costly. When someone who is looking for a budget drivers, that usually means they'll be wanting a budget friendly amp also.

baahaha. someone has been misinformed.... those amps are not near 10%. you forgot a decimal . and they are far from power hungry. but im sure someone that hasn't had experience with them (like you) would know everything about them.

Gotta agree, never had problems with hifonics, and customer service is great. Been close to 15 years I have been running them. I can't say I wouldn't enjoy a more expensive amplifier line, but these amps can still keep you competitive, without hitting the wallet hard.

600rms VVX line

and bigger lines coming in the future.

Quality was chosen>Keeping cost extremely low with these amps.

I know kevin clamped 1200rms out of the 1500 at 2.7ohms. Which just shows how beefy that amp is

If that is true, he is only hurting himself by over pricing lower rated amps that do more. If they really do that kind of power it may help in SPL ORGs that use RMS as their method of classifications. However, the majority of the customers that will be looking at skar now and in the future will be budget minded.

I'm sure the owner has his plan and I hope it works. However, basing your company on a budget friendly product then trying to change that normally yields less then wanted results.

Also, I know what amps these are based off of. So with that in mind I think he could have a little different direction. However, that would have just been my idea on what to do. Being as I do not actually own the business or have anything to do with it, what I think or would have done is pretty much useless. lol
