I got bored with having nothing but my headunit through winter so I threw in a single p1 12 powered by a Crunch 500.2 bridged at 4 ohms. Level set about 2v, Absolutely no bass boost whatsoever at the amp, and the crossover at about 90hz.
I have to say the p1 sounds all right for just a decent small temporary or beginner setup. No distortion so far, sounds rather clean and tight, doesn't pick up too low, what do you expect form such a small setup. But for a small temp system to get me through winter its sounds pretty good getting as much clean power I can form the amp.
