yea, it would have to run at a minmum of 150vdc to make 60k @ 400 amps current draw .....

So, prob like 20 batteries in series to run 60k .....you should do it .......

I had no problem with communication from Michael. I got mine on Black Friday and he was sick and off work a week and there was the holidays so not super fast but I traded 16 emails and numerous facebook messages with him and he always responded within 2 days faster with email. Sales@singeralternators.com. Because it's cast the one of the case bolt holes had to be reamed a bit and a nut out on the inner side but He responded asap to me email and offered advice on how to fit and said would not void his warrarnty :

Haha, I knew they had a high-voltage amp, but I didn't know which one it was.

Also, I wouldn't run two Taramps 8k's. They can't be strapped, and I wouldn't want to gain match on a system that big/expensive.

With the electical you have, you could get a big 7k-10k Korean amp and wire to .25

After I get my other two alternators on, DD said I could run the M4a at .25 daily no problem

Update on the status.

I have not received it yet, but mike and jim have said it should have/should ship early this week.

Its about to be friday so waiting to see if it makes it this week or next week.

My current setup only does 14v due to stock alts, after thinking about it all i rather stay in the 15-12v.

So 14v and gona do between 8k-20k watts depending on my last desicions.

I rather do electrical first, but its gotten harder due to long waits for the lat to be sent.

I was doing a layaway for 5/6 months so by the time i was finished with the last payment, The alt was already ready and shipped pretty fast.

It's ok. I decided to wait and buy the new 30k when it comes out. That way, I can't possibly upgrade to a bigger 12v amplifier (for the time being).

Something many people do not know, large case GM housings were out of stock from every supplier for approx 3 to 4 weeks. This is exactly why you had to wait so long on such a common alt. We dealt with the same lengthy delays on many large case units pending to be built.
