on my route back from work there is a pos mazda pickup with a topper on it parked in the street. on the back glass of the topper there is a "brahma" sticker... it always makes me wonder...
i've managed to convert a few people though. one buddy in particular went from a bazooka tube to a 12" tc1k to two maw 15s and now he's looking for something else. another is going from two entry level memphis subs to two 12" icons.

"Brahma" is a brand of topper who places a big sticker with their name on it across the back window of their product. Ive seen a million of them.

So I was driving today with two of my buddies to get some stuff to work on an install and we pulled up to a light. It was the classic high school kid next to use bumping his Sony Xplods, So we all began talking about how people in our city have no clue about what is out there, names like Sundown IA FI and Mach 5 were just some listed. Literally two minutes later there is a Trailblazer that is driving slowly from the otherdirection. I saw on on his windshield he has a sundown banner but it wasnt in the right font so I assume it meant something else. Well as the car goes past I noticed all his windows are blacked out and I see his back windshield and sure enough it says Sundown Audio in the same font that Jacob uses. I have no clue who it was and I know most everyone in my town with systems. I know it may seem like a lame story to most but I was really impressed to see something like that and thought it was pretty ironic it was literally two minutes after we all agreed no one around us knew shit about systems other than what they get at BB or CC

though the other day when i had demo'd my btl to a friend who has not heard of anything outside of the box he was amazed to all hell. i showed him my Fi flyer and he began reading it. he was like they have 18's????? everything is hand built and can be custom??? i'm like yup.

Locally, no one knows what any of the brands I use are:

Treo Engineering, DD, KnuKonceptz.. etc.

They all ask me "why don't you run Alpine" or "why don't you just throw some blah blah blah's in there"

lol. I agree, My vehicle i littered with them. There is a local shop close to where i live that runs nothing but memphis. They sware by it. Well i corrected the dude in a nice way and he argued that i was wrong. Until i walked the whole shop outside for a DEMO!!! He seen the TEAM Sundown Decals and sundown audio decals all over the vehicle!!! Dude freaKed out. He was like well you prolly only got the 1500.1?? I said its the 1500D first off and that the 1500 is baddass, strappable, and makes a shit load of power.
