i just got a sundown 1500 amp and would like to no how to connect the speaker wire

i one have one speaker wire come in out of the box @1 ohms so how i should connect it

the amp have +--+

ok i wasn't thinkin about the manual thanks now am looking at the diagram an what i get is to join the 2 pos together an just used one of the neg is that right???

Huh? Maybe you should take it to a shop.... They wouldn't charge you much. Better than blowing an amp or a sub.

No.

If ur subs are externally wired to achieve ur desired final impedance, then u simply connect the positive lead to either one of the + terminals on the amp, and the negative lead to the adjacent -

The addition of a pair of Speaker outputs, is for convenience in installing. Both Positives are connected together inside of the amp. You only need to hook up one positive, and one negative. Whichever you choose, you will be just fine.

With that being said, make sure your subs are hooked up correct to achieve your desired final impedance. The way the subs are connected is way more important than the way you hook it up to your amp.

All positives together, with Two DVC 4 Ohm subs, and all negatives connected together with same subs = final impedance of 1 ohm.
