significant upgrade?

Im having some minor issues with my two Z 15's and i was wondering if i upgrade to a couple of btl 15's what will i gain/lose wit output and sound quality? Is it worth the extra $80?

it was something about a bad bottle of glue and i have to wait until new coils come in (minor) its no big deal but i was thinking about switching to some btl's to run off my saz-3500

They are two different genre's of sub, so it is a step into a different segment.

so is the Z considered a sql sub? i know the btl and nightshade are spl subs. Ok well which sub will perform better a saz3500

ahh thats tough. totally different woofers if you have the zv2 vrs the btl. the btl should handle alot more thermally with the 8 layer vrs the 4 in the z. on the other hand i bet the z burps louder because tighter gap = more BL and lighter moving mass.

the btl is closer comparo to the nightshade.

if ur gonna burp and compete keep ur z if ur going daily btl or ns...

I would go with the Fi BL's instead of BTL's because BTL's can only produce bass for 30 minutes. BLs can for an hour.
