Signature advertisements

I'll ask again since Goob is on and I can post.

What is the purpose of not having signature ads allowed? The forum doesn't gain money or lose money by having people put little ads in their signatures that most just pass over when they look at a thread. I'm not complaining, I'm just wondering why the rule is there. I never understood this. I wonder what the members think as well? Anyway, let me know teh Goob.

the answer is there is an advertisment page for advertisers. thats where the advertisments go. not in your sig. its a rule. Goob makes the rules, you should follow or leave. Plain and simple.

Yeah I believe that there are no ads in the sigs, because People pay to advertise on this site, and putting an add in your sig is free advertising, and it isnt fair to those who have to pay.
