Signal To Noise Ratio....

Any amplifier worth owning will have an adequately high SNR.

This isn't a "higher is always better" specification. Once the SNR is out of the audible range...that's it, going higher is not going to net any audible difference.

isnt 90 or higher isnt audible or lower?

One 20.1 is quite sufficient to send a XXX to its limits, provided the impedance is low enough //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

If he's ordering them new, tell him to ask about a lower impedance VC configuration. It's a shame to run those amplifiers above a half ohm or so, they're just so devestating at a near-short //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
