Signal problems???.........HELP!

yep
Well, today i installed my sisters rear speakers for here. Since i had a soldering iron and was already back there i figured id solder some wires instead of having electrical tape. I soldered the stock speaker wire to the wire for the LOC for the sub amp (profile ap600). Well i did that and theyre all connected good along with the wire for the new speakers. The speakers work fine, but the sub (infinity 1240) is barely audible. I called crutchfield tech support, and he told me to measure the voice coils and it turned out fine, 4 ohms. I then took a walkman and a mini jack to rca converter and plug it into the amp. That workde fine. So its not the amp or the sub, right. That leaves me to think its the LOC, since all of the connections look good. Is there any way to check this? Sorry for the long post. Thanks for any help, and the faster the better, i wanted to get this done tonight.

Thanks

If i knew what that meant, i would tell you.......//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif How would i know if i did or not? And is it sommon or likely to have LOC's fail?

If you have the LOC wired into both speakers (left and right), disconnect either the left or right and see if the sound gets louder. If it does, reconnect the wires but use the opposite polarity (switch the + and - wires).
