Signal for multiple sub amps?

Guys,

I am hoping someone can provide some feedback on exactly how I would go about providing signal to multiple sub amps since my EQ only has one set of subwoofer outputs. I know the obvious answer is to use Y-Splitters, but I guess I am really concerned more with signal degradation as the signal gets split. I will be running 6 sub amps and I just don't want to split the signal too many times.

What amps? Most amps have a rca pass through that will send the signal to the next amp.

On most amps there is a signal input and signal out put on the amp its self... chain them together.

Perhaps I might be dumb, but it does not look as if the SAZ's from Sundown have outputs other than the BR Out.

Get a line Driver. I have an Audio Control line driver Eq and it works awesome. Are you bridging the sub amps? Strapping them? I am not familar with the SAZ. is it a mono or 2 chan amp?

You are the effin man. I just got finished watching the video on Crutchfield's Website and that thing is absolutely bad @$$. This will accomplish exactly what I am wanting to do.

depending on the output voltage of your headunit, you can split them with y's on higher voltage preouts, or from what i can see the maxxlink is nice for the price.

eh, not so fast...

On most every amp I have ran, saw or hooked up, your right you can you can

H.U. or EQ Sub out to

Input of Amp 1

Output of amp 1 to input of Amp 2

Output of amp 2 to input of Amp 3

Output of amp 3 to input of Amp 4

Output of amp 4 to input of Amp 5

Output of amp 5 to input of Amp 6

and so on, if needed...

However, On Sundown Audio's Sub amps Amps, you can only use the output of one to input another if you are linking them toghter in a master/slave to make one Big @ss amp ....

So, You would need to either use Spliters (not the best idea by far), or some type of Device like the others have mentioned like Maxxlink or Audio control Matrix...

Even with the Matrix, you would need Spliters...

The Matrix only has 3 Pairs outputs, you will have 6 sets of inputs on your amps to to deal with... Sigh!!!!

I am facing almost the same thing, but a bit smaller, I think I'm going to only do 4 SAZ-2000Ds vs the 6 that I wanted to do... I gotta draw the line somewhere...

Seems like I'll never get this thing back together as it is....
