i believe it, but fir daily where talking 1%thd.. i just don't see 8k... @17 its likely, but those amps aren't built for it..The Z2hv has been clamped on a 10 sec burp and did 12735 @ .82 ohm and 13.5 volts...this is not rms voltage but I would say 8000 watts rms should not be a problem
how much is that meter jacob?Everyone should use this clamp :

As far as clamping power in-car goes it is the way to go... it ignores the initial spike and then reads a few seconds in. I use it for all of my testing.
Example (clamping 4500D in my Jeep):
http://www.sundownaudio.com/misc/_AMP_POWER/4500D/CIMG2529.MOV
4870 @ 1.18 ohms / 12.25 volts
Notice how the final power number didn't pop up for a while.
That is part of my "Uniform Clamp Test" thread... where I set all the amps at half gain to compare them in the same environment.

Someone posted the 4500 up mid-thread too.those pics are the 3500d fyi not the 4500
IRF in all the SAZ Class-D amps -- power supply and output (except for 1000D... has DNI in power supply).SD what brand FETs you use?
you sir are a dick //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifi paid a bit under 500 for her
i thought the saz3500 was huge, then i put the z2 next to it and was like dayum....
nice.. good stuff..IRF in all the SAZ Class-D amps -- power supply and output (except for 1000D... has DNI in power supply).
SAE-1200D has IRF / Fairchild.
SAX multi-channels use Sanken and DNI parts.
