You can take the woofer to any local JL Audio dealer. Tell then hat you need

to send the woofer in for non-warranty rebuild service. As in the title, we

do not recone a woofer, we rebuild the woofer. Everything but the basket and

the magnets are replaced with new pieces. So, you are getting a new woofer

back.

This service for this woofer has a flat fee of $400.00, plus shipping. I do

not know the shipping cost, the dealer can tell you this.

When the woofer is returned to you, you will have a 90day remanufactures

warranty.

now im stuck with a non working 12w7..lol btw twistid..im really not sure how their install is..i imagine like every other dealer though..crappy (no offense some are good lol) but ya.i do not know of anyone that has had installs done there.
