My mother asked 1 her co-worker's if their was any audio shop's around and she said, My boyfriend work's at 1 but I woudnt send your son their because my boyfriend say's the owner's have some of the younger kid's steal back the item's their customer's buy.

She said they find out where you live when you fill out your address on some paperwork when you install. She's been working with my mom for 3 year's very reliable source. This would also explain why their shop looks so shitty, it looks like it was built 40 years ago and get this they dont even have a garage they have like a wannabee shed.

So this has made me come up with a very smart idea to avoid getting jacked if you have your equipment in trunk.

Load the Big *** Box that barley fit's height wise so you have to force it by pushing.( Mine is like this atm) Now go Home Depot/ Lowes find some kind of thick metal that is 30'40 inches that has hole's in some where along the whole thing or edge's. Now you get 4 master lock's and lock these metal peices in a square around your box)

So they wont be able to pull the box out of the trunk because the square around the box is blocking it from comming out. This idea would seriously delay them and they would make a shitload of noise trying to break the lock's plus the amp is behind b ox so they cant even touch it.

What you guys think?

if you Want to get real serious bolt this metal down to the car or even make 2/3/4/5/ Squares around box with tons of master lock's.

Install a tear gas canister and a dye pack in the amp hooked to a transmitter. Goes off when the amp gets more than 500 yards from the car or you trigger it on your keychain remote. After that, you just find the blue guy with the sniffles.

If you want to find him even faster, use semtex.

You mean find the little parts of him...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Isn't the first time I've heard of shops doing that.

Somebody should do that and get them busted.
Unfortunately, you'll likely have no way to trace the little punks back to the shop, unless they're busted with a garage-full of stolen items that the local shop happens to carry...

Easier just not to be a target in the first place. That means making your vehicle appear to be less attractive to thieves - flashy wheels and stickers are begging for someone to pay your vehicle more attention than they should.

Thieves are going to get the equipment if they want...and at the very least, they can do plenty of damage without actually taking out anything.
