no, i want something with a lil sq, but i want it to be more spl, i want it to be loud as hell. I'm not tryin to start arguments, i want some real input, preferably from people who have heard these subs. I havent heard either of these subs but i've narrowed it down to these two choices. If you dont have something to say about one of the subs dont post, period.

I agree. Any advice you get is going to be nothing more than brand favoratism by someone trying to get you to buy what they like since the SX isn't even out yet as far as I know. If you're wanting just a touch of SQ with alot of SPL then just about any sub that gets loud would fit your tastes just fine (DD 3500s, RE SEs, RE SEXXXs, etc). What you really need to do is figure out how much space you have, and how much power you have, and email the owners of both companies asking them if their sub would be ideal in that application. If one says "it'll be perfect in that space with that power" and the other says "it'll be good in there, but if you had some more space and some more power, it would be better" then it seems like the choice is obvious. Otherwise, just flip a coin or get the one you think looks best or whatever. Customer service and product quality from both companies is top notch so its really going to be hard to go wrong either way.

well, with 1800 watts the SX will get louder than the sexxx. well thats the results i got from david's tests.

I've decided to order SX i read a post on them on another website from someone who works for RE and had them metered.
