SI MAG worth extra $ over SS RL-P?

Yeah I want a ported box but not sure if i do make 2 cubic ft, I'm not sure if it'll fit in the trunk because the trunk itself has a good amount of room but the opening of the trunk is small and the opening from the cabin to the trunk is also small.

I would PM Tirefryr and politly ask him about box specs.

Or

Go to www.soundsolutionsaudio.com That site is the home for both companies and you will find more folks with experience with both. As well as several Mustang owners.

Price to performance, IMO, I couldnt possibly see it being worth it. I would need to see a night and day difference in sq and spl to spend an extra $250 more.
$200 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif. you could prolly talk showrides into giving ya a little discount too....so maybe $175 difference //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

For the price, you could pretty much get a pair of Rl-ps over the single Mag.

I can't comment on the RL-p.. yet..

but from my vast experience with tons of woofers over the years..

yes.. the mag is worth every cent of its asking price to me..

i think it probably just depends on the listener. the mag is better than the rl-p. if you're constantly looking for improvement and any improvement is good improvement, i'd say get the mag. cause if you get the rl-p, you'd know the mag has more output and you'd probably end up with the mag later anyway.

You could buy 2 RL-Ps for the price of one mag...so that would easily makeup for the output potential of the mag

for a given SPL the RL-Ps should both be more linear in their strokes, (less distortion) and you can equalize them to sound whatever you like

i used both subs, and honestly i would take the rl-p. the mag was a great sub but not great enough to warrant the extra cash. mine got awfully loud in a ported box, louder then my mag, but they were totally different applications so can't really compare output. with 650 watts like you said, that would be perfect power for an rl-p.
