si mag ...what amp?

I am ordering a Si Magnum 12 putting it in a 1 cu box.

What amp would you guys choose.

i have one person telling me to get a sundown 100.2

and another is telling me to get a hifonics

I narrowed it down to the bxi 1208 because of its price on woofersetc. ($219)

I cant really see spending another hundred dollars for an amp with only 400 watts.

I would get the Sundown SAE-1000D, but that is even more yet.

I have to buy a HU, sub and amp.

The 100.2 is just at the end of the price range.

I was thinking just to get the hifonics because i can expand after this setup if i decide to.

The 100.2 would be nice because if you ever got the funds to get a bigger sub amp you will have a nice extra amp for some front speakers. They're underrated too... will do a lot more than 400 watts

Nick and I did quite a bit of listening on the prototype on the rear channels of an SAX-100.4 -- the SAX-100.2 bridged is much more powerful than that, it will sound quite good.

ok, i found a sundown for 239 on ssa so i guess i can get that one.
