SI MAG, 12" ported vs 15" sealed

in my 1997 cavalier with my current amp rack i have enough room for a 12" ported box (presently in there, 2.5cu ft @ 28hz) i could put a 12" mag in there, or i could go with 2.5-3.0 cu ft sealed with a 15" mag, as i dont have the room for a 3.5 cu ft @ 28hz box... which setup do you guys think would be louder?

the 12 would..

ported in this instance, with that driver will give you 3-6 db more output above the tuning of the box, to around 42hz, which would cover alot of musical bass..

if you would consider tuning a bit higher.. say 32-34hz.. you'd have even more output above 42hz...

i really thought that the 15" would be louder, but i guess not, i hope im satisfied with 1 12" and that it acutally is louder than the xxx i sold to get it...
