Shrink tube?

I know I should be slapped for this question but can you apply shrink tube directly over bare wires? Will it cause resistance or is it not conductive?

My ass cheeks are spread. lol

this it is made to cover bare wires or solder joints pretty much a replacement part for what used to cover your wires
