Shorted

When I was driving home one of the amps power wire came loose and touched on of the postive terminals. It seemed to short out the whole system. Now there is no sound, the head unit says it is playing the cd but there is no sound! What happened and is it fixable?

recheck ALL your wire connections and check/replace your fuses. you may have blown a fuse to your amp. if thats the case, replace the fuse and give it a try.

ditto... and tighten down your power cables! that is the most dangerous thing to happen to your system and your car! (electrically speaking)
