I went out of town for a couple of weeks, and when i came back the face to my CD player wasn't coming on but you could here the music, and after a while the whole head unit went off. It comes on whenever the deck comes on. What should I do?
Clean the electrical connection on the back of the face and the HU. Any dirt and or corrosion (even invisible corrosion) can cause that. It's also possible that the face connection is loose or wearing out.
Try alcohol (the rubbing kind, not the drinking kind //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif ) and a q-tip.
