ive searched the forum but theres no info on the shokIII. so im curious how it stacks up to similiar 3.5 amps- DC, AQ, cresendo, ect. its a little more $ but figured i would look into it.

Yes, they are painted. The cover is very easy to take off and repaint to whatever color of choice to match the install.

OFC vs CCA for wiring amp to car and for speaker use . . .
I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.

Question about connections between head unit (HU), amp, and sub
One or two, they are still subwoofer outs and are mono summed signals from both left and right. Even the 2 RCA subwoofer pre-outs on the 2nd one...
