i can get the shok 5k right now but is 200 more then the d9 and 100 more then the 40.1, then 40.1's should be in stock sometime in july, and the d9 would be a couple months wait. b2 was another consideration but they are pretty expenisive.

Ivv had a few ia40.1 and currently have one they are a serious amp I run mine at 16.5v and it gives my 2 solo x 18's a work out

Haven't had my hands on any Shok amps yet. Yet. Buy they have their work cut out for them to be mentioned along side the other two. If price isn't a factor, it's a coin flip output-wise. Both are basically bulletproof. Better resale on the 40.1 (for some reason) but D9's seem to move faster.

Man, that's a tough one. The curiosity would have me considering the Shok. Personal experience and proven performance says D9. But, for some reason I have this thing with the 20.1 and 40.1. Something I like about IA. So, that "it" factor would probably seal the deal for Incriminator for me in this one.

But don't go thinkin the 20.1 can run with the D5. Just an FYI. Lol.

ya im kinda interested in the shok 5k myself, its suposidly a cactus k5 with a different heat sink is what i have heard. the 5k is the most expensive out of the bunch but the availability has got me thinking buy it. rd will take a few months to get and IA will be another month forsure.

Original IA 40.1 FTW if you need a bulletproof amp to run low ohm loads. On a 16V setup someone clamped 16kw out of a pair.

Uh... None? If I HAVE to choose out of those 3.. IA. Wouldnt give a penny to shok or rduh. (im very sure all 3 are fine amplifiers, I just wont support those 2 comps)

I think considering you have a Canadian distributor for the IA that sounded like the best deal and likelyhood of good service if anything happens.... though Atomic 5K and it's variants are proven performers as well.

I 'm just guessing but as close as SHOK and Atomic(SJA)/ RD audio are , they are probably the same 5k's, which even if they are they are proven preformers, but I would go with the IA40.1 between the two though
