If you have your gains correctly set, you should have no problems at all.

As for your alternator, that will vary on your listening tastes and the health of your current alternator. The only surefire way to know is to install your equipment and see.

Can you plug a single shiva to a JBL 600.1 at 2ohms (when the jbl put the 600watts)?????

shivas work at 4 8 or 16 ohms rigth?????

i would say get 2 shivas and get a jbl 600...if ya go with the 1200 your most likely going to haft get a new alt and/or cap and with the gains turned way down your just wasting money, so just get the 600 it'll be plenty
