Just a suggestion for your new equipment is take the time to mark your equipment conspicioulsy, and record all serial #'s. They'll probably end up at the pawn shop, but sometimes they end up for sale someplace. I know this may void warranty, but all my personal stuff is internally marked. At least the equipment that is hella expensive.

That sucks bro. I used to live in Jonesboro, and we never heard of anything at all get stolen out of cars untill I moved down to Houston, now you have to buy an after market alarm and cover up your vin numbers.

I have had a few friends that were thieves. Doesn't mean I go out with them and steal shit. As long as they don't do that shit around me I don't give a shit. I can't make them change and I've been friends with most of them for years, before they got balls to steal. I used to ***** at them all the time, but they don't give a shit. So what you gonna do? And hanging out with a known rapists is not the ****ing same dude, get real.

BTW back on topic. That sucks dude. I'd be super pissed, but I'm poor and wouldn't beable to afford something new for a long *** time. Hell I'm 32 years old and just now finally able to afford my first real system. Sorry to hear about bad luck bro.

Well, after a good sleep I was all refreshed and almost didn't even care knowing that everything could eventually be replaced... I go outside to unlock my truck (with a key, no remote entry) and well, there are no locks in my door handles and the handles are pryed away from the truck!?!? How I missed this last night I really don't know.. I guess because it was dark and already unlocked that I just didn't even notice... So luckily I was able to fish the passenger side lock up enough to unlock it and make it in to work this morning... NOW I AM PISSED... I mean shit, the window was down enough to Jimmy something down in there, no need to break my truck too... Anywayz, the truck is down at the dealership and I am waiting to hear the horrible news of how much it is going to cost!! it has happened to me before.. it sucks.. luckily i live in a small town the theives knew me.. and obviously werent smart becuase they tried to sell my head unit and amp to someone who i was close friends with and my friend called me up and said wtf dude someones trying to sell me your system...well they didnt know that i knew the guy they were trying to sell my stuff to .. so i had someone drop me off at my friends house one day and i had him call them (him and his acomplice) and tell them he wanted to buy the stuff.. and to come over and he had the money.. well they came over (not knowing i was there becuase i didnt drive my car) came in his house and i walked around the corner.. this little high school kid and his friend almost crapped himself.. i just grabbed my shit back.. ask him who he sold my subs and box too (luckily i knew that guy too) threw him down my friends front porch stairs and told him if he ever came around my house to steal my shit again it will be worse next time.. put my amp and head unit in my backseat.. punched out his window on his truck and left..

as for the guy who he sold the subs and box too. he didnt know they were mine when i confronted him and for someone reason i believed him.. so he gave them back with out any argument.. i felt bad though because this little high school kid who ripped my shit off ripped this guy off and sold him two JL audio w3 subs in a sealed box for 450 bucks.. and one of the subs was getting ready to blow

Smith Ford here in Conway... I know the body shop guys well enough that they would give me a break if they could, but the running total was $425.... I told them not to worry about it.. I Figure I can roll a little while without the doors locking, shit there is nothing left in there to steal... I guess I will hopefully be able to figure out how to fix it myself... Guess it is time to rip off all of my eDead!! Kind of sucks... just to much of a hassle... If i knew it was going to be this much work I would have taken it all out and given it to them so that nothing on my truck was broken... oh well, live and learn.

that stuff is a pain in the *** to rip out. Plus if you plan on putting it back on it's even harder.

Do you still have the boxes/manuals? Serial numbers are written down on those too. Check craigslist for them. You never know. My last system got stolen (2 amps, sub, sub box, components. left the HU because i had the faceplate in my pocket) and it's been 6 months and i've heard absolutely NOTHING.
