What is the average shipping time for standard delivery?

How long should someone wait before they should start to worry about being scammed?

I have seen some ppl jump conclusions too quickly and others wait too long, becasue they don't want to be a d*ck or have faith that whaterver they bought will show up.

depends how it is shipped, and how far its going. what exactly is standard? ground?

That being said, if it's much over a business week...such as 10 days or over, I would be a little worried.

But you should have tracking information and/or insurance on the shipment, correct?

For me, he said he was shipping UPS (I'm assuming ground) on Friday, Nov 18th. When I asked for a tracking number he never sent me one. I did get a response saying that it was shipped and I shoud have it the day before Thanksgiving. That would be less then a week, so I thought that was kinda funny. Now 2 weeks have past and I have nothing, but I am hoping that there was a delay because of Thanksgiving. I am not calling anyone out right now, that is why I am not saying any names, but I am getting worried. But if I don't have a note on my door by Monday saying that UPS was tring to deliver a package, I will be visiting someone very soon.

Ask again for a tracking number...it's his responsibility as a seller to provide one.

I'm prolly kinda near him... same state. GL man. Thought I just had bad timing, but maybe not.

Yeah, I saw that he was selling it, then decided not to, the put it up for sale again. I know he does/did have the sub, because he took a picture and hand wrote his name and date. But ****....I'm going out of town tomorrow, so I wont know if it arrives until Monday, which make teh wait even worse.

UPS ground is 5 days maximum anywhere in the continental US

Even assuming he dropped it off after the cutoff time on the 18th and it shipped out the following monday, and including the Thanksgiving holiday, it should have been there well before now.

And I've never had UPS leave a note if I wasn't home.....they just leave the package in front of your door.
